A direct introduction to the world, the token, the Artifacts, and the boundaries between them.
What is Stepping Razor Protocol?
An interactive science-fiction world and community experience built around missions, the RAZOR community token, and collectible Archive NFTs. It has game-like elements, but it is not currently presented as a complete game.
Do I need to buy anything to enter?
No. Anyone may explore the public Mission Control interface, examine released Archive material, and follow the developing story without buying a token or NFT.
Why would someone acquire RAZOR?
RAZOR connects its holder to the public Protocol community and may establish eligibility for specifically designated future missions or experiences. Every use must be published separately. RAZOR does not guarantee profit, governance, clearance, an NFT, or any other reward.
Why would someone acquire an Architect Artifact?
An Architect Artifact is a limited collectible Archive record with its own artwork, identity, classification, traits, provenance, and place in Protocol history. It can be collected for its art, story, rarity, or historical role. It does not automatically grant governance, financial returns, or internal clearance.
Do I need both RAZOR and an Artifact?
No. They are separate systems. RAZOR may be used for eligibility in a designated public mission. An Artifact is an owned collectible record. If a future optional experience requires either—or both—the exact requirement will be stated before participation.
Can I sell my RAZOR?
Yes, when an active market and sufficient liquidity are available. RAZOR can be exchanged through a compatible Solana trading venue, including its Pump.fun market. A sale is never guaranteed, and price, liquidity, network fees, and trading risk can change.
Can I sell an Architect Artifact NFT?
Yes. The owner may transfer or list an Artifact on a compatible Solana NFT marketplace. Finding a buyer is not guaranteed, and marketplace support, listing terms, royalties, and network or marketplace fees may apply.
Does completing a mission guarantee an Artifact?
No. Mission work is evaluated independently of token ownership. A verified completion may receive a non-transferable participation record. Under separately published pilot rules, selected participants may be recognized with an Artifact reserved for community rewards. No reward is automatic or guaranteed.
What is a Guardian—and how does someone become one?
The Stepping Razors were the Genesis Guardians: the first generation to protect the Protocol without ruling it. A human participant may be recognized as a Guardian after completing a verified public mission and accepting the Guardian Mandate. Guardian recognition is earned through service—not purchased with RAZOR or an Artifact—and grants no governance, clearance, command authority, financial entitlement, or guaranteed reward.
What does a Guardian protect?
A Guardian preserves evidence, reports accurately, assists the community, and protects the Protocol's founding principles: Freedom, Assets, and Legacy. Guardians continue the protective purpose of the Genesis Guardians, but they do not control the Protocol.
What is the Guardian Mandate?
It is a commitment to preserve evidence, report honestly, correct mistakes, assist others, respect privacy, and uphold Freedom, Assets, and Legacy. Guardian recognition requires verified service and acceptance of that commitment. The first recognition process is not active yet.
Collectibles and tokens carry risk. Nothing in this briefing promises value, liquidity, profit, or future functionality.
